Super Mario Run Update
Looks like Nintendo is ready to revive Super Mario Run’s popularity by bringing an exciting updated for Mario’s first mobile game. The Super Mario Run update is releasing on September 29, and this update includes a brand new map, a new mode, as well as a new playable character.
New World and Mode

The new world, World Star, features new gameplay elements to spice up the game. One of the newest elements is that in a few stage Mario will be in his “Paper Mario” form where he has to bounce and run around a stage made of paper platforms and enemies. Along with the new world, there is also the Remix 10 game mode which gives players a set of 10 stages in random order, this mode makes each world in the game much more exciting since players do not know which stage they are going to play.
Also, the Super Mario Run update now lets you play any song in your phone while playing the game, so you may want to play your metal songs while playing the hardest levels in the game to make it more “hardcore”. In addition, your character will wear headphones whenever you are playing music from your phone to signal that you’re not listening to the Super Mario Run themes.
New Playable Character
The Super Mario Run update also gives you the chance to play as Daisy, Princess Peach’s good friend and mayor to New Donk City that appears in the upcoming Super Mario Odyssey. It is still unclear if Daisy will have differences in gameplay to the other characters in the game, but we will let you know once the update comes out.
On the other hand, Nintendo will cut the game’s price in half on September 29 to October 12 in order to spark interest to new gamers.
