Danger High and Low

After sliding down the slopes of Slope To Success and avoiding the buzz saws in Cutting Edge Spire, you’re now in Danger High and Low. In Danger High and Low, there are multiple obstacles. These obstacles include spikes, enemies, and falling rocks. There’ll be turtle shells that you can knock around to smack around enemies. While running this stage, it’s not particularly long compared to the other stages prior. Danger High and Low requires you to be a little more aware of the surroundings.

Things to expect in Danger High and Low

  1. Pipes are your best friend. While the Slope to Success had slopes to deal with, Danger High and Low has pipes where you slip out from one end to another. Each pipe leads to a different area depending where you want to head out. However, not all pipes spit you out. Some of them have other creatures inside.
  2. Collect the coins. Defeat enemies and pick up coins. It’s what Mario does after all.
  3. Hit the boxes with the “!”. These boxes bring down a variety of upgrades that will help you through the game. Some of these upgrades can be stars, mushrooms, coins, and bubbles. All these can help you get through the puzzle.
  4. Watch where you’re jumping. Some of the areas have spikes, creatures, and obstacles below. Also, there are some parts where you have to jump over spaces. Unlike enemies, you cannot regenerate from falling through a hole.
  5. Don’t forget to hit the golden boxes. Each of the golden boxes hold a different kind of upgrade that can help you through the puzzle. Be sure to use those upgrades efficiently.
  6. Avoid the falling stonesNot all the stones that fall just fall vertically. Some of the stones fall and glide across the screen. While you can use shells to knockback or destroy the stones, leaping over them can be just as easy.
