Things to expect in Wall-kicking it Underground:

  1. Watch out for the angry plants. While jumping through the caverns, you’re going to encounter an old foe that pissed you off in the old games. The carnivorous plants pop out of their tube every now and then. But if you know the timing and know how to get past them, it shouldn’t be too hard.
  2. Hang on the walls. The walls are there for a reason. While climbing the walls, you’ll be able to get more coins. Not only that, some obstacles are avoided when you use the wall-kicking tactic. In doing so, you can easily finish the jump puzzle without too much effort.
  3. Follow the coins. Rule of thumb in Super Mario Games. If you can’t find the pathway, follow the coins. The coins in Super Mario can show you where to go.
  4. Time your jumps carefully. Your jumps are crucial in this game. Since there are many enemies and some have trampolines, timing your jumps here are crucial. While you can get a little Magpie crazy with the coins, best to time your jumps. When you do, you’ll notice that you’ll save a whole lot more time than you usually do.
