Permanent Events
Below is a list of all features and events in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV which cannot be changed after you have confirmed them or have reached specific points in the game’s main story.

Nightmare Difficulty
You cannot change the game difficulty afterwards if you choose Nightmare mode when starting a new game. This does not apply to all other difficulty settings which allow you to lower or increase the difficulty at any time during a playthrough.
Claire’s Secret Event
A secret event with Claire can be unlocked during Overture (At Least Tonight’s Promise) on 8/31 if you purchase the Blue Silver Harmonica at Crossbell Entertainment District on 8/29. The item disappears forever in the game afterwards, making it a missable event.
