The first game of the day was between TGC. Esports and Nova S. Both teams are trying to claw their way through the losers bracket. TGC.Esports went with a strong lineup with a lot of control abilities such as Alice, Arduin, and Maloch. On the other hand, Nova S used all of the latest heroes such as TeeMee and Max along with late-game damage dealers such as Airi, Nakroth, and Mganga.

A team fight quickly escalated in the jungle of Nova S as TGC.Esports tried to invade, giving the former a 3-1 kill lead in just the first minute of the game. It was a back-and-forth team fight in the first five minutes until the assassins of Nova S managed to catch one by one the heroes of TGC.Esports.

The score went as far as 20-7 in favor of Nova S in the 8th minute mark. Nine minutes into the game, Nova S captured a 4-nil team fight. They quickly went for the Dark Slayer and maintained their aggressiveness afterwards. They managed to get another 4-nil in a team fight in the DS lane to put the final nail in the coffin for TGC.Esports, 28-8.

In the winners bracket, Forgiven United went for a high-damage composition while Saiyan.Paranoia centered their team composition in the hands of Violet and Tulen. Both teams had good team compositions and none had a clear advantage coming into the match.

Forgiven.United changed all of that immediately after snagging an early 6-1 lead in less than three minutes. They continued their aggressiveness, stopping Saiyan. Paranoia from bouncing back or even tie the kill score. Murad’s ultimate was enough to deal a ton of team damage against Saiyan.Paranoia while The Joker came through with his ultimate kills and first ability snipes.

11 minutes into the game, Forgiven United found an opportunity and quickly swatted the Dark Slayer. They then pushed the high ground tower in the Abyssal Dragon lane. The damage dealt by The Joker and Murad were too much as they got an ace to open the core with ease. Forgiven United then went directly to the core to get the first game with a score of 28-10.

Winner: Forgiven United (Squammy Version)

The second game was different, as it wasn’t a one-sided affair and both teams were equally matched until the deciding team fight where Forgiven United pulled off a miracle to sweep Saiyan. Paranoia, 20-24.

In the early stages of the game, it was Saiyan.Paranoia who made the first few kills, getting a 6-0 lead three minutes into the game. Forgiven United answered back with two kills of their own to try and even up the match. It was also Saiyan.Paranoia who had a lot of map control, securing objectives and forcing Forgiven United to play safe.

Unfortunately, Forgiven United managed to cut the kill lead to just four after a few misplays by Saiyan.Paranoia in the mid lane. Forgiven United’s Ryoma and Tulen were responsible for the kills. Saiyan.Paranoia continued to fight back, not allowing the oppononet to take the kill lead.

In the 15th minute mark, Forgiven United lost to a team fight in the enemy high ground ground tower, 5-3. Saiyan.Paranoia tried to push back but was unable to after all of Forgiven.United were alive.  The last team fight at the 17th minute mark was surprising, as Forgiven United managed to sweep their foes 5-2, with the heroics of Ryoma .

They then quickly pushed the Dark Slayer lane high ground and eventually the core to seal the deal. Forgiven United ultimately won the match 2-0 to advance to the next round.

Winner: Forgiven United (Squammy Version)
MVP: ᴄᴷ•Yanyan (Ryoma 9-1-6 KDA, 13.8 MVP)

Team Marksman continued to dominate the upper bracket after dominating PowerPuffBoys – Nova PH, 20-8, in the first game of the second match. Team Marksman had a mix of burst damage and tanks, with the newly-released Max in use. On the other side, PowerPuffBoys had the usual meta lineup with the Xeniel-Alice support combo.

It was going well for both teams in the early stages of the game, Team Marksman only had a slight kill lead advantage while PowerPuffBoys are holding off in terms of gold, experience, and objectives. Nothing much was going on in the first 8 minutes of the game.

A Team Marksman sweep in the 10th minute mark quickly shifted the momentum in their favor. In the 15th minute PowerPuffBoys killed Max on the other side of the map to remove one member of Team Marksman, who decided to get the Dark Slayer as fast possible. PowerPuffBoys immediately went to the Dark Slayer to stop Team Marksman, but the latter went on to get the buff and win a 4v5 fight easily. Team Marksman then went to the mid lane to finish the first game in a dominating fashion.

Winner: Team Marksman
MVP: SN (Tulen, 8-0-9 KDA, 18.3 MVP)

The second game was a lot more intense and action-packed, as the match ended with both teams having a tie kill record of 15 apiece. However, Team Marksman still came on top to also sweep their matchup and proceed to the next round of the upper bracket.

The team composition were fairly similar in terms of each team’s playstyle. Team Marksman had a very offensive lineup with only Xeniel as their front line. On the other hand, PowerPuffBoys had a safe team composition, and are hard to kill once they get their core defensive items.

Both teams were equally matched in this game, going back-and-forth when it comes to capturing objectives and kills. PowerPuffBoys had slowly gained traction after securing the Dark Slayer in the 9th minute mark, but Team Marksman wasn’t having any of it and managed to kill three heroes.

After the buff expired, Team Marksman continued on with their aggressive push in all of the lanes. It was in the 12th minute mark when Team Marksman managed to destroy the middle high ground tower and killed three heroes of PowerPuffBoys that they quickly rushed to destroy the core. The two remaining members of PowerPuffBoys tried to defend the tower, but Team Marksman still destroyed the core in the nick of time.

Winner: Team Marksman

ⁿᵒᵛᵃHungryBox – Lindis zg chetto – Alice

This matchup saw two formidable teams battle it out on who will make it to the next round of the winners bracket. Nova PH Ravenous had a more offensive lineup compared to Zero Gravity’s Alice-Xeniel combo. A tulen versus Lauriel in the mid lane was also a thing to behold in this matchup, as both are very mobile and bursty mages who can turn the tide around in a team fight.

The match was low-scoring and nothing much has happened except for a few kills here and there. Nova PH maintained a small lead all throughout the game because of the very reliable of a Lumburr support. On the other hand, Zero Gravity was trying its best to extend the game since most of their team composition are strong when they have their core items.

In the 12th minute mark, Nova PH made the aggressive in the mid lane to try and finish the game as early as possible. In the high ground of Zero Gravity, a team fight ensued which resulted in a destroyed tower and a lot of deaths on both sides. Nova PH then tried to push the DS tower, but they caught a disconnected Lauriel in the enemy jungle. They killed another three heroes of Zero Gravity and eventually the core tower, 12-6.

Winner: Nova PH Ravenous
MVP: ⁿᵒᵛᵃHungryBox (Lindis, 5-0-5 KDA, 13.2 MVP)

The second game was pretty much the same in terms of speed and kills. Both teams had fairly similar lineups but Zero Gravity opted for a niche Kahlii pick. Nova PH, on the other hand, drafted Max and Lindis for their damage output.

The game started out real slow.Nova PH, however, had the upper hand in the early game because of the acquisition of two Abyssal Dragons in just five minutes. A team fight in the 7th minute mark made it clear that Zero Gravity needs to shut down Lindis after dealing a ton of damage on the enemy team and contributing to the demise of three members of Zero Gravity.

The late game came and the game still had a very slow pace, but Nova PH slowly pulled away in terms of gold and kills. In the 10th minute mark, the high ground tower in the AD lane was destroyed and Nova PH went straight to the core to get another sweep in the winner’s bracket, 11-7.

Winner: Nova PH Ravenous

The final game of this day was between two famous teams in the MSP region – EurasiaSuperfly and Kimochiii. EurasiaSuperfly’s team composition consists of Max, Lindis, Preyta, Alice, and Zephys. On the other hand, Kimochiii has a ton of control abilities which will give them an edge in ganking and team fights.

It was a close game for the most part due to the fact that both teams have a good team composition for team fights, therefore making it harder to have an advantage overall. The only problem is that EurasiaSuperfly’s map control and focus on objectives allowed them to defend all their towers while also destroying the enemies.

In the end, Kimochiii had a hard time defending the tower, forcing them to crumble slowly at the hands of EurasiaSuperfly. Kimochiii only had one tower remaining in the DS lane. EurasiaSuperfly exploited the weakness immediately and went for the kill in 15th minute mark. They managed to kill three members and eventually the core of Kimochiii to give them the convincing 1-0 lead with a kill score of 24-19.

Winner: EurasiaSuperfly
MVP: ESF. Buck (Zephys, 7-3-10 KDA, 11.0 MVP)

EurasiaSuperfly once again defied all expectations after winning this one in a dominating fashion,12-2, in the second game of the final match of day 13. EurasiaSuperfly once again had a very similar team composition except for the TeeMee. Kimochiii drafted Superman, Tulen, and Nakroth in the lineup, which means that will be very aggressive in terms of ganking.

The game was oddly similar to the last one, in particular the pace of the whole game. It’s also worth noting that Kimochiii once again had a hard time destroying any towers of EurasiaSuperfly, ending the game without any towers destroyed. EurasiaSuperfly was able to apply a lot of pressure to the mid lane of Kimochiii.

10 minutes into the game and EurasiaSuperfly is steamrolling into Kimochiii’s base without much hesitation. They were able to destroy the towers easily in the DS lane and a 3 man kill to open the core of Kimochiii. In the end, ESF finished the game with an 11-2 kill record and no towers destroyed.

Winner: EurasiaSuperfly
MVP: ESF. Don (Preyta, 4-0-7 KDA, 14.1 MVP)
