Halo Farming Guide for Bayonetta 3
What are Halos?
Halos are a type of collectible currency in Bayonetta 3 used to purchase various cosmetic items from Rodin’s Treasures. Unlike the first and second games in the franchise, Halos in Bayonetta 3 are now rare due to the limited appearances of angels that drop them upon defeat.
Displayed on the Upper Right Corner of the Screen
As you play through each level, the amount of Halos you have collected are displayed on the upper right corner of the screen (before Orbs and Seeds).
Ways to Get Halos
Halos can be obtained by defeating rare angel-type enemies that appear in various chapters in the game. It is also possible to get Halos from different areas on the map or from playing through Jeanne’s side missions.
How to Farm Halos
Farm angel enemies in Chapter 3.
The best method to farm Halos is by repeatedly clearing Verse 1 of Chapter 3 which requires you to defeat several angel enemies. First, begin the chapter until you reach the first tunnel leading to the subway. This will begin Verse 1 that pits you against a group of angels. Take them out to get some Halos.
Immediately after the Verse results appear, return to Chapter Select by going to the game menu and restart the chapter again. Keep doing this to farm a large amount of Halos in the game.
