Seed Farming Guide for Bayonetta 3
What are Seeds?
Seeds are a type of collectible currency in Bayonetta 3 used to purchase accessories, consumables, and other useful items at the Gates of Hell. Seeds replace Halos as the primary form of money in the game as the latter is now much rarer due to the Angels’ decline in numbers.
Please note that this page is currently being updates. New information on how to farm Seeds will be added when it is confirmed in the game.
Seeds are indicated at the upper right section of the game screen (the furthest to the right after Halos and Orbs).
Ways to Earn Seeds
Dropped by enemies upon defeat.
Seeds are commonly dropped by various Homunculi enemies upon death. You can earn a decent amount of the Seeds just by going through the game’s story chapters, though may want to take the time to farm the resource to purchase accessories or other items before advancing to the later missions.
Earned as a clear bonus based on rank.
You can also earn a hefty sum of Seeds by getting high ranks at the end of each chapter. Try to rack up combo points by mixing up attacks against enemies as this greatly contributes to your overall rating.
The damage you take in the entirety of the chapter is also factored in your clear rank so avoid getting hit as much as possible. Lastly, the time it takes you to complete the mission also affects your rating.
How to Farm Seeds
Replay chapters.
Replaying chapters is the best way to farm Seeds, particularly missions that simply require you to defeat groups of Homunculi. This method is also a good way to earn Orbs by accumulating combo points during each level.
Some Verses in certain chapters also feature mini-game sections that gives you the chances to take down waves of foes faster than you would during regular encounters.
When farming Seeds, you may want to avoid doing missions with many puzzles as they are likely to take longer to clear (though there may be exceptions).
