Meta Knight Boss Strategies

Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:

Observe attack patterns

Don’t engage the boss head-on. Take note of the attacks of the boss, including its attack pattern.

Bait melee slash attacks

Let the boss unleash its attacks first in close-range. Do not attack back since the boss can execute slash attacks faster. Once it stops from attacking, deal damage.

Evade projectile slash attacks

If you see the boss from a far position, that is the time to focus on evading slash attacks from a distance. Let the slash attacks run out and slowly get close to the boss and damage it.

Fly to avoid charge attacks

If you see the boss in a charging position, get ready to evade or fly.

Find a safe zone to avoid falling debris or rocks

At 30% health, the boss will raise debris or rocks from the arena. Do not position yourself beneath the shadows of debris and find a safe spot to avoid getting hit.

Leave your spot to avoid getting stabbed

When you see the boss above you, move away since it will attempt to stab you. There will be four rock waves coming out shorty so do not return to the spot of the boss immediately and let them run out.

Move around to escape from slash attacks again

Circle around the arena to avoid a flurry of slash attacks. The slash attacks are many and faster.

Jump to avoid big project slash attacks

At 10% health, the boss will fly to an opposite corner and unleash a large projectile slash attack that covers the arena in terms of range. Jump over the waves and slowly approach the boss to deal the finishing blows.
