Stage Walkthrough for Windy, Freezing Seas
Area 1
| 1 | It is recommended to use the volcano fire ability for this stage. From the starting location, move forward and follow the path along the rooftops. Take out the enemies along the way. |

| 2 | Once you pass by the first cannon, go west and then south to find a pipe. Swallow it to enter Pipe Mouth mode and roll down the path north. |
| 3 | Jump over the gap at the end to break the ice wall where the first hidden Waddle Dee is (Save the Hidden Waddle Dees: 1/5). |
| 4 | From the destroyed ice wall, jump down on the left. Then, keep going left and enter the against the strong wind and enter the tunnel to find a pile of coins (Find a Cave That’s Safe from the Wind). |
| 5 | Exit the cave and head back to the previous area. |
| 6 | From the destroyed wall again, follow the path going east this time. Move along the roofs until you reach the one with the bull enemy and the exit to the next area just head. Jump down south to find a bomb block. Destroy it to find a trail of coins and a capsule at the end. |
| 7 | Head for the door to exit to the next area. |
Area 2
| 1 | Move forward and then go right while clearing out the enemies. Jump down the opening to the lower area and swallow the ring to enter Ring Mouth mode. |

| 2 | Climb back up and go south to find a boat. Hop in and sail left. Grab the fried chicken (Enjoy 3 Meals at Sea: 1/3) and blast boost into the ice wall. |
| 3 | Go north. Then, head right and destroy another wall to the north. |
| 4 | Go right around the fence. Keep sailing to the right and pick up another meal near the north wall (Enjoy 3 Meals at Sea: 2/3). |
| 5 | Break the next ice wall to the south. Then, go left and jump off the boat to the small dock. Take out the enemies there. |
| 6 | Head up to the fan on the left and do a wind blast to power it. This will disable the wall of spikes to the left of the boat. |
| 7 | Hop back on the boat and go left to find the last meal (Enjoy 3 Meals at Sea: 3/3). Afterwards, break the ice wall under the docks to the north to reach the second hidden Waddle Dee (Save the Hidden Waddle Dees: 2/5). |
| 8 | Sail all the way east and jump off the boat to the next area. Take out the seal enemy there. |
| 9 | Head to the lower right corner toward the sparkle to reveal some stone blocks on the upper right side. Pick up a capsule there and jump north to a ledge with a coin on it. Break the ice wall to find the third hidden Waddle Dee (Save the Hidden Waddle Dees: 3/5). |
| 10 | Jump back down on the right and go up the ladder. Take out the enemies and approach the Warp Star to reach the next area. |
Area 3
| 1 | Move forward by using the steel fences to avoid being swept by the strong winds into the icy pools. |

| 2 | Just before two spiked enemies in the middle of the road is a lantern you can light on the left. |
| 3 | Once you pass the two spiked enemies in the middle of the path, head to the right to find the fourth hidden Waddle Dee in the hole (Save the Hidden Waddle Dees: 4/5). |
| 4 | Jump back out and move forward. As you approach the area with the cannons, go left and break the ice covering the lift. Swallow it and head to the right (time the cannon’s shot to avoid it as you cross). |
| 5 | Position yourself next to the platform on the right and extend the lift upwards. Spit the lift out and to reach the ledge and open the chest to get the Dragon Fire Blueprint. |
| 6 | Jump back down on the left past the cannons and continue going north against the wind. Just before the next large area with icy pools, jump to the platform on the left. Break the ice blocks and climb up the ladder. Then, light on the upper level to reveal a trail of coins ahead. |
| 7 | Jump back down and go north. Take out the large Kabu in the middle. From there, go left to find a hole that leads to a secret underground room (Jump into the Secret Underground Room). |
| 8 | In the secret room, go right and swallow the lift. Then, go left and hoist yourself up the platform. Use your flame breath to light the end of the rope there, then quickly jump back down and swallow the lift again. |
| 9 | Make your way to the right while avoiding the spiked enemy before the rope reaches the cannon. |
| 10 | Hoist yourself up the platform where the cannon is and jump in. This will launch you to the area where the fifth and final hidden Waddle Dee is (Save the Hidden Waddle Dees: 5/5). |
| 11 | Jump back down on the right. Take out the enemies and swallow the lift to reach the blue switch above. Then, spit out the lift while you are at maximum height and jump-float north to the icy tower where the golden cage is. |
| 12 | At the top of the icy tower, head to the rocks on the left of the golden cage to find a capsule. |
| 13 | Approach the golden cage to clear the stage. |
