How to Get the Pilgrim’s Perch Key
Bad Option: Skyrest Bridge
- Cross the Skyrest Bridge. Then look for Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis and buy the key item.
Best Option: Resting Area (Main Hub)
- Best Option: Get the key free from unlocking two beacons.
How to Use the Pilgrim’s Perch Key
Use the key to open the steel door.
Enter the Pilgrim’s Perch and head down to the cave area. Keep moving and see the steel gate. Use the key to open it.
Open the door beside the Vestige of Blind Agatha.
Within the area of the Vestige of Blind Agatha, there is a door that you can unlock using the key.
Unlocks the door leading to blacksmith Gerlinde.
Take a lift downwards and make your way to the prison cell area. Before you can enter the area, you must use the same key to unlock the door blocking your way first.
After unlocking you can see the Gerlinde, the blacksmith, locked inside a prison cell. You cannot still free the captive but need a prison key. Defeat Pureblade in order to get the prison key.

Should you get the Pilgrim’s Perch Key
This key should be bought mid to late game due to its pricing. Also, there are different reasons why you should avoid purchasing the key.
These following reasons are the following:
- Heavy Armor Set – You will encounter an armor set that is not beneficial to you if you have a different build.
- Strong Enemies – Some enemies will be reachable using the key. Unlocking them early game will be difficult to defeat.
- Key will be free – Once you unlocked the two beacons. You will receive the Pilgrim’s Perch Key for free when you return to your resting area.
