What are stat soft caps?

Stat soft caps in Lords of the Fallen 2 (2023) are value thresholds where a specific stat undergoes diminishing returns on the parameters they affect. For example, at high enough values in Strength, you will notice that the damage increase gained from wielding weapons that scale with Strength goes down per point invested.

In summary, it is generally not recommended to increase the stat past the soft cap point as it is not worth any significant gain to your character anymore.

All Stat Soft Cap Values

Below are all stat soft cap values for all character attributes in the game. Note that each stat has more than one soft cap stage which means that players can experience at least two threshold points of less increase in their attributes as the stat goes up to higher levels.

Each upper limit of the stats listed above will still allow you to gain increases to parameters they affect, though the gains will be extremely small to be of any worth any more. These max soft caps do not represent the hard cap of each stat in the game.

How to Respec Stats

Talk to Pieta at the hub to reset your stats.

Pieta will offer to respec your stats through her Reset Build service only after you have beaten her boss version (Pieta, She of the Blessed Renewal) in front of the Skyrest Bridge entrance. You will need to spend one (1) Rebirth Chrysalis, a rare consumable item, each time you respec your character in the game.
