How to Beat The End Guide for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (MGS3)

Tips to Beat The End
- If you run out of stamina during the battle, you will be taken to the prison in the Graniny Gorky Lab.
- If you save during the battle with The End and load it after the game console’s date has passed between 3 and 7 days, you will be imprisoned.
- If you save during the battle with The End and load it after the game console’s date has passed for 8 days or more, The End will die of old age.
- If you killed The End earlier outside the Ponizovje Warehouse, the Ocelot Unit will appear instead.
- The End’s initial location is fixed (he will always be at the south hill).
- If you hold up The End 3 times he will drop the Moss Camouflage Uniform.
The End Normal Strategy
| 1 | After dealing enough damage to The End at his initial location, follow his footprints using the Thermal Goggles |

| 2 | Have The End shoot you on purpose and open the map to see his location. |
| 3 | You can also use smoke grenades to conceal yourself during the fight. |
The End No-Kill Strategy (Stamina Depletion)
| 1 | While crouching, hit The End with the cigarette gas spray gun and hold him up. |

| 2 | After The End drops the Moss Camo Uniform, hit him with gas spray gun again once. |
| 3 | Then, put a stun grenade on The End’s body (shifting the perspective upwards). |
| 4 | Hit The End with the spray gun once again. |
| 5 | When you run out of stun grenades, hit The End with a spray gun twice to knock him down. |
| 6 | Afterwards, move ahead of The End on the road to the west and hit him with a spray gun again as he runs over. |
| 7 | Finish The End off. If you are unable to do so, The End will run away. |
| 8 | Use Thermal Goggles to chase and deal the final blow. |
