Delta Base 04 – Battle Training

1 The basic strategy in battle is to unify your party using United Attacks. Try to use techs that will allow the cooperation of many allies. When the Combo Rate at the top of the battle screen exceeds 100%, “Overdrive” becomes more likely to occur. In battle, you always want to aim for Overdrive. As a guideline, Overdrive will trigger more frequently if cooperation (green squares at the bottom of the battle screen) connects 4 to 5 squares or more.

1 In the second Battle Training event, you will be able to clear it with still plenty of time left in the battle. Use the time to try out various techs.

1 Just clear the third and Battle Training event normally.

2 Talk to the Researcher who appears as you move north on the map.
3 Clear the Ritgrams mini game. Use the LR buttons to rotate the puzzle pieces and fit them into the corresponding locations.
4 Talk to the Researcher southeast of the map. Clear the second Ritgram mini game.
5 Head west and talk to another Researcher. Clear the third Ritgram mini game.

If you do not give the Cursed Book Page, you can battle the King of Curses later.

1 The Researcher offers to exchange crystals and Cursed Book Pages. If you select “One more” once, you will receive 3 crystals in exchange. If you call out one more time, the event will end without any exchange occurring.

2 Open the 5 containers on the lower level. Some battles will occur when opening some of the containers. Examining the electromagnetic fence will give you LP-1, but you cannot bypass it, so resort to battling. Also, if your character’s LP is low, you can recover it (+1) after the battle by changing your role to “First Aid”.

1 If you clear the Ritgram, a boss battle will occur with Cursed Monarch. Before taking on the boss, try to progress to Delta Base Event 26 – Green Division Lift in advance, defeat strong enemies, get the Dragon Scale Sword and Electromagnetic Radiation Gun, and level up your character.
2 Set the party formation to “Hotenmai” (鳳天舞の陣) and place Diva in the 3rd position to prevent instant death. Equip Diva with a doublet so she can use the Guardian Program. Also, try to set yourself with the role “Trouble Maker” to draw aggro from the boss. Equip Boudica with the Dragon Scale Sword and Wednesday with the Electromagnetic Radiation Gun. Be sure that Wednesday has also learned Scattered Bullets for the fight.
3 Your first priority when the fight starts is to take out the Ancient Text Monster that uses Death Stare. These enemies are weak to the slash attribute, so aim for combos using slash attacks.
4 When the Cursed Monarch is alone, he will uses “Summon” to call allies. If this happens, try to stun him.
5 Use Diva’s “Guardian Program” to protect your allies when their HP is low. It is recommended that Diva be on the defensive and the other four party members attack the Cursed Monarch.

1 Ride the Green Division lift to the lower level.
2 Catch the 2 extradimensional cats facing to the right. If you catch the cat facing left, you will trigger battle.
3 Strong enemies will also appear in the battle with the left-facing cat. You can obtain powerful weapons by defeating these strong enemies. Since the weapons only drop at a certain rate, feel free to save before fighting the enemies and reloading if you do not get the equipment you need.

Earth Dragon Strategy

Poison is effective against the Earth Dragon so try applying it on the first turn. Afterwards, use United Attacks and Showstopper to take it down.

Drifting Lizard Strategy

SaGa: Emerald Beyond (SaGa: EB) - Diva Walkthrough (Delta Base 26c)

Drifting Lizard is also vulnerable to poison so aim apply it on the first turn. Note that the enemy is also weak to Darkness.

Deal with it in the same manner as the Earth Dragon by throwing out United Attacks and Showstoppers.

Once the battle begins, have Diva simply “defend” (skip without taking any action), and the remaining party members will work together. If you use Wednesday’s “Fairy’s Prank”, it will not only be effective against the enemy’s weak points, but it will also be easier to get an interrupt.

1 Sensei and Trade are released in the Junction. In Sensei, you can obtain equipment and materials by taking on Trials or train characters. Trading, meanwhile, lets you sell items or receive items at random after returning from a world. Note that it is possible to get rare items this way.
2 Scanning with the X button will unlock doors to new three worlds.
3 The world beyond each door can be determined by the description on the door.

About the Yellow Battlefield

If you complete the events related to the Yellow Battlefield, you will be able to recruit ” Yellow Witch Wilma”. Additionally, if you complete the first Yellow Battlefield event, the series of other Yellow Battlefield events will remain even if you proceed with the other events. Because of this, it is a good idea to clear the Yellow Battlefield (first time) and then head to the other battlefields on your first playthrough.

1 Head to the yellow battlefield. You can choose to “watch over” or “support.” If you the second, a battle will commence.
2 If you choose to fight, the witch will ask you about the image of the enemy after the battle.

Stun skills are effective against the Calamities so have at least two stun factors in your party. For the formation, it is recommended to go with “Cooperative” as quick effectiveness and United Attacks will be important during the fight.

When the battle starts, focus on stunning one of the Calamity enemies that will use Spirit’s 〇〇. Magic has a charging time, so do not attack in haste and try to take out the enemy who casts buffs first. You will want to constantly use United Attacks to build Combo Rate for Overdrives so go with the Cooperative formation for this fight.

Two Buffoons will appear alongside the Final Emperor so you will want to prioritize defeating them first.

Ameya should start chanting Vermilion Sands on her first turn. It is also effective to aim for stuns with Lolo’s Assault Fang or Bow’s Ground Sweep.

Have Shinobu Kato provoke the Final Emperor with Appear Slash and suppress the boss’ damage output with defense.

If you proceed through the scenario without helping the 5 specific people, you will battle Leia who becomes the Final Emperor. This is the fastest boss to reach if you go through the Grelon section without looking up any kind of guide.

Though you will be skipping most of the events found in the Final Emperor Alexandre route, Leia’s attacks and abilities as the final Emperor are just the same as Alexandre’s.

About Brighthome’s Bases

In Bright Home, each zone is divided into three stages: friendly zones, neutral zones, and enemy zones.

Events in the neutral zones are written as “Battle of…” or “Defenders of …”, while events in enemy zones are written as “The Chaos Approaching..” or “Recapture of …”. If a battle occurs in an event, you can clear it to increase your allies’ affiliation with it by one level.

1 Scan the area after the opening event.
2 Proceed to the next event. Afterwards, two side events will be unlocked.
