Preparation
Before taking on the Cursed Monarch, try to progress to Delta Base Event Green Division Lift in advance, defeat strong enemies, get the Dragon Scale Sword and Electromagnetic Radiation Gun, and level up your character.
Set the party formation to “Hotenmai” (鳳天舞の陣) and place Diva in the 3rd position to prevent instant death. Equip Diva with a Doublet so she can use Guardian Program. Also, try to set Diva with the role “Trouble Maker” to draw aggro from the boss. Equip Boudica with the Dragon Scale Sword and Wednesday with the Electromagnetic Radiation Gun. Be sure that Wednesday has also learned Scattered Bullets for the fight.
Start of the Battle (First Turn)
Your first priority when the fight starts is to take out the Ancient Text Monster that uses Death Stare. These enemies are weak to the slash attribute, so aim for combos using slash attacks.
When the Cursed Monarch is Alone
When the Cursed Monarch is alone, he will use “Summon” to call allies. If this happens, try to stun him.
Using Diva’s Guardian Program to Protect Allies
Use Diva’s “Guardian Program” to protect your allies when their HP is low. It is recommended that Diva be on the defensive and the other four party members attack the Cursed Monarch.

Preparation 1
This boss requires a lot of luck to defeat during the your first run so you may go through many attempts to take it down. In order to increase your combo rate even by just a little, it is recommend that you “retry” the battle many times as possible.
Preparation 2
The most important party member for this fight is Musashi. Therefore, it is usually a good idea to restart the battle if Musashi is knocked out. In order to improve Musashi’s performance as much as possible, upgrade Zweihander to +1 as well as Rigid Leather and equip it on him.
Preparation 3
In terms of formations, Warcry is a good choice. This formation provides the most advantages out of all selectable ones during your first run. Position Musashi at number one. You can increase your anti-air hit rate and make it easier for your team to prevent the enemy from accumulating their own combo rate. This also makes it easier for Musashi to go into Showstopper.
Start of the Battle (First Turn)
In the case of the Warcry formation on your first turn, try to reroll until you can make 5 combinations. If you can form a 5-team combination, you will have a very high chance of defeating one Elemental Tree enemy on your first turn. If you want to compromise, 4 combinations (with Overdrive) is also doable.
Second Turn Onwards
During your second turn, use Nagashi Slash to lower the boss’s attack power. Ideally, you should try to lower it to 3 levels.
Using Stun
Stun is effective against most bosses despite having low chance to apply it. When the boss uses Stare, try stunning him.
Note that Stun is also useful for dealing with the Elementals and Pukas so try to use skills that can inflict the status as much as possible.
After Defeating the Elementals
After defeating the Elementals, the boss will summon Pooka x2 one turn later. You should have 5 allies alive by this point. Use Musashi’s “Okizan” to deal with Puka. When Pooka’s attack is “???”, it will interrupt all incoming strike attribute attacks so avoid using such techs like strong attacks or punches.
If you defeat two Pookas, they will just be re-summoned, so it is better to leave one Pooka alive and attack the Tee Spirit directly.
Closing out the Fight
From here on, just reduce the HP of the Wood Spirit. Expect a long and drawn-out battle. If your party members are taken down one by one, be sure to use Showstopper as a final push to victory.
Divine Water Spirit

Preparation
Diffusion formation is recommended for this fight. The main gimmick in this fight is that it is hard to trigger United Attacks and Showstopper so having your team spread will increase your chances defeating the boss.
About the Gimmick During the Fight
The Child Rocks cannot be destroyed even if you attack them many times and will become nuisances when the targets have been dispersed during United Attacks or Overdrive. Remember avoid coordinated assaults for this fight.
Start of the Battle (First Turn)
At the start of the fight (first turn), focus on pummeling the Water Elemental with high-damage attacks while avoiding United Attacks as much as possible.
Maelstrom and Washing can be avoided by acting faster than the boss , so use follow attacks etc. to evade as many allies as possible.
It is a good idea to have a character that is slower than the boss to “defend”.
Countering Maelstrom and Washing
You will want to act faster than the Water Spirit to avoid getting hit by Maelstrom and Washing so use Chains (Conditional Tech) for allies to be able to evade the attacks. For party members that cannot move faster than the boss, just have them defend.
Countering Wriggling Tentacles
When the boss uses Wriggling Tentacles, its attack power will increase by 2 levels. Counter this with Nagashi Slash to reduce the boss’ damage output as much as possible.
Using Piercing Attacks and Stun
Great Water Spirit is weak to the piercing attribute. Stun is also effective against the boss so aim to constantly apply the status during the fight.
Gravity Bind
Try to also apply stun on the Elementals and the Water Spirit itself to gain a temporary advantage. You can also use Gravity Bind which is effective against the boss.
Divine Fire Spirit

Preparation
Set your party to Cooperative formation to increase the chances of using United Attacks Overdrives in battle.
You can also go for Warcry where you can reroll until the 5 combinations are connected at the start of the battle to ensure you defeat one Elemental Fire on the first turn.
Start of the Battle (First Turn)
On the first turn, prioritize taking out the Elemental Fire x2. Try to combine high BP Techs with magic if you do clear them out faster. Stun is also stun effective against the Elementals who are also weak to fire.
When the Divine Fire Spirit is Alone
Once the Divine Fire Spirit is alone, all you have to do pummel it with United Attacks. Musashi should be the primary attacker in the party. If Musashi draws too much aggro, use “Deflect” to protect him. Note that the Divine Fire Spirit is weak to the Thrust attribute.
