Post-Game Unlockables Guide for SaGa: Emerald Beyond (SaGa: EB)

Replay

If you select “From the Beginning” (replay) after clearing the main story of SaGa: Emerald Beyond (SaGa: EB), the game will start automatically from the beginning.

Note that previously saved data will be moved to “Other Data.”

Carry-Over Elements During Replay

When playing through the game multiple times, you can select elements to carry over from your previous playthrough.

If you turn on the takeover setting, your progress at the time of clearing will be carried over. Turning it off, meanwhile, will let you play on the game’s default state.

If are unsure what features you should transfer to your new playthrough, start with the default settings.

Carry-Over Elements Update

Certain carry-over elements will be updated each time the game is cleared.

Character levels and stats will be updated, but items, monster skill absorption stats, and other features will remain as they were at the time of clearing.

Things to Do After Beating the Game

Replay the game with a different main character.

There are five main characters (Protagonists) in SaGa: Emerald Beyond, so it is recommended that you clear one story route and then replay it using a different character.

Since the characters you can recruit on each protagonist’s route are different, story events and combat encounters will vary greatly.

Ultimately, try to clear all of the five main character’s story scenarios.

Replay the game with a main character you used to to clear it before.

You can also choose to begin another playthrough with a main character you already used to clear the game before. Doing so may allow you to view new events and interactions with other characters that were not available in your previous run.

This means that even if you play as the same main character more than once, you can discover new things over and over again.

If you want to fully enjoy the world of SaGa: Emerald Beyond and all it has to offer, try replaying same main protagonist’s story scenario more than once.
