What are Anima Crystals?
Improved Version of Anima Shards
Anima Crystals are an improved version of Anima Shards that you can use to grant experience (Job EXP) to various job classes in the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin (FF Origin). While Anima Shards bestow 4,000 Job EXP to any job class, Anima Crystals give a massive 10,000 experience, making the latter more valuable for job leveling.
Increasing Chaos Difficulty Mission Levels
Anima Crystals can also be spent to raise the level of Chaos difficulty missions, resulting in enemies becoming significantly more powerful but also allowing you to receive better rewards.

Anima Crystals are post-game items that are rewarded for clearing Chaos level main story missions. There are also a few side missions that only become available after beating the game that also let you obtain Anima Crystals for clearing them.
