Useful Tips for Multiplayer

Communicate with your allies during missions.

You can use short commands to communicate with other players which is useful for coordinating your tactics during battles. You will have a better chance of survival if your team works together, especially against bosses.

The mission will not end even if the host player dies.

The online session will not end as long as your team has not been wiped out yet. Even if the host player is killed, the mission will not end. Be sure to use Potions or Phoenix Tails to keep everyone alive during co-op.

Use the Cube to regroup (only available to the host player).

The host player can use Cubes found in dungeons to gather all guest allies if they get lost exploring dungeons. This is also useful if any of your allies get surrounded by enemies.

All party members will obtain items collected in chests.

Items obtained from chests are all obtained by each member of the team regardless of who opened it. You do not have to worry about anyone hoarding any items as everyone will get the contents during co-op.
