Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin (FF Origin) is an action role-playing game based on an alternate retelling of the first entry to the Final Fantasy series (Final Fantasy I). Developed by Team Ninja known for the punishingly difficult souls-like series Nioh as well as Ninja Gaiden, Stranger of Paradise: FF Origins takes players on a journey across vast landscapes of the Kingdom of Cornelia inhabited by iconic enemies from the Final Fantasy universe.

Strangers of Paradise: FF Origin follows the story of Jack, a man drive by a burning desire to kill “Chaos” and bring the light of the Crystals back to Cornelia that the darkness has covered. He is aided by a band of loyal allies, each with their own reasons for accompanying Jack on his mission.

Stranger of Paradise: FF Origin adopts a job class system that allows Jack and his allies to freely switch between different playstyles during combat. Players will initially have access to basic jobs such as Swordsman, Mage, and Pugilist but eventually unlock advanced jobs that build on the strengths of their requisite classes.

A horde of challenging enemies and bosses await players at every turn throughout the Kingdom of Cornelia’s various dungeons, forests, and ruins. Leveling up Jack and acquiring new weapons, equipment, skills, and magic will help him take on foes to eventually locate and destroy Chaos and bring an end to the turmoil engulfing the land.
