Normal | The game’s standard difficulty setting features fairly challenging skirmishes against average-level enemy AI. Recommended for players who are experienced with turn-based tactics games. |
Hard | The game’s highest difficulty setting features the highest level of enemy AI encountered during skirmishes. Recommended for players who are highly experienced with turn-based tactics games. |
Game Difficulty Mechanics
Difficulty can be changed at any time
You can increase or lower the game’s difficulty at any time during play to suit your preferences. Shortly after selecting the difficulty mode at the start of the game, you will be able to change it by going into the game’s menu.
Which difficulty should you choose at the start of the game?
When playing the game for the first time, it is highly recommended to choose Normal difficulty to get a feel for challenges posed by the enemy AI during skirmishes. From there, feel free to switch to a lower or higher difficulty if you encounter battles that you are having trouble winning or are finding enemies too easy.
