How to Earn Kudos in Triangle Strategy
What are Kudos?
Kudos are a form of resource in Triangle Strategy that you accumulate during skirmishes. Earning Kudos is done by attacking enemies in a tactically sound manner which usually results in your units dealing more damage or being safe from enemy counterattacks.
Ways to Earn Kudos
Below are the actions that will earn you Kudos in battle.
- Attacking an enemy unit while gaining a height advantage bonus
- Attacking an enemy unit from behind
- Attacking an enemy unit when you are outside their attack range
- Attacking an enemy unit with a skill or ability that they are weak against
- Attacking an enemy unit with a follow-up strike
What are Kudos Used For?
Kudos can be spent at the Sundry Shop to purchase various useful items, including different types of Quietus and class promotion medals. While progressing through the game’s main story allows you to earn a decent amount of the latter, having another means to acquire them is beneficial. Because of this, try to earn as much Kudos as you can during each skirmish.
Tips for Farming Kudos
Using Hughette
Hughette is a particularly effective unit for farming Kudos during the early stages of the game as she is able to attack enemies from high ground using her bow. This essentially grants her consistent height advantage bonuses on maps that have tall structures if she can position herself quickly in the beginning of the fight. At the start of battle, deploy Hughette as your only unit and have her climb up the roof of buildings. From there, simply pick off the enemies to farm Kudos.
Bear in mind that Hughette is a unit who does not have very high HP. It is recommended to bring healing items to keep her alive during the skirmish if you intend to grind Kudos using this method.
