Consumes 40 Waveplates

All Simulation Challenges consume 40 Waveplates for each successful attempt. Players can also enter the Simulation Challenges without Waveplates, but the rewards will not be given.

Wuthering Waves How to Use Waveplates (Stamina)

You can spend your Waveplates on Simulation Challenges to avoid reaching the Waveplate cap.

If you want to reduce your Waveplates and have them naturally recover, you can always spend them on the Simulation Challenges. Doing so will earn you valuable EXP materials for characters or weapons, as well as Shell Credit.

How to Use Simulation Challenges

Acquire large amount of EXP materials.

EXP materials can also be obtained from the main story, treasure chests, puzzles, and side quests. However, Simulation Challenges provide a substantial amount of EXP materials, far exceeding what is available from other sources.

Wuthering Waves Character Leveling Guide

Spend Waveplates on Simulation Challenges during the early stages of the game.

At the beginning of the game, your Waveplates will be at maximum capacity. Therefore, it is ideal to spend some of them on Simulation Challenges and allow them to replenish naturally. This will not only deplete your Waveplates but also enable you to gain EXP materials at the same time.
