Phey – Thane | Yanyan – Ryoma |
Jerz – Zephys | F.FL – Max |
RapB – Zanis | f.SILL – Nakroth |
It is worth noting that following the recent patch, the Two-Hero Bans in Tourney Mode are now live. Both teams wasted no time taking advantage of this, with EVO banning Superman and Lindis, while Forgiven United banned Alice and Airi.
EVO’s team consisted of a mix of burst damage and team fight-centered heroes in Preyta, Zephys, Zanis, Thane, and Xeniel. On the other hand, Forgiven United chose a more mobile, harass and sustain-heavy lineup with Teemee, Tulen, Ryoma, Max, and Nakroth.
Forgiven United began the game with F.N’s Teemee doing the roaming near the Dark Slayer and mid lane. EVO’s Phey returns the favor by patrolling the Abyssal Dragon side of the map for his team. This led to a team fight at 2:14 near the Abyssal Dragon pit, with Forgiven United nabbing the First Blood and a 2-1 team score lead.
After securing the first Abyssal Dragon at 3:17, Forgiven United found themselves scurrying from an EVO engage. EVO picked off Teemee and Nakroth to get the lead back, 3-2. Forgiven United was quick to bounce back, getting a couple of stops just before the 5 minute mark for a 3-5 lead. A crucial team fight in both the Abyssal Dragon and middle lane brush at 5:52 saw Forgiven United take advantage of an out-of-place Nab who was bursted down by Yanyan’s Ryoma. This volley was then continued at the Abyssal Dragon pit where Forgiven United blitzed three members of EVO, eliminating them quickly and securing their second dragon in the process. This ballooned their lead to 10-4.
EVO was reeling, but were still dead set on weathering the storm. They tried to set up a gank near Dark Slayer at 7:40, but Forgiven had other plans. f.SILL and F.FL managed to isolate Gtrz who was pushing the Abyssal Dragon lane. f.SILL managed to snipe Gtrz down while the rest of Forgiven United continued the lane pressure.
At 8:46, Forgiven United began taking down the Dark Slayer. EVO was privy to this and tried to contest. The ensuing clash saw EVO’s Jerz take down F.SILL. However, Forgiven United was able to come out on top, securing Dark Slayer and coming up 15-7, thanks to Yanyan’s triple kill.
EVO defended well against Forgiven United’s top and bottom lane pressure at 12:55, resulting in a 13-19 team score, still in favor of Forgiven United. Undeterred, Forgiven United managed to regain their balance and followed through a massive 5-man push at the top lane which overwhelmed EVO and captured Game 1, 24-14.
Winner: Forgiven United
MVP: Yanyan (Ryoma, 7-1-7 KDA; 13.3 MVP)

Nab. – Lauriel | Maker – Tulen |
RapB – Xeniel | Yanyan – Lu Bu |
Jerz – Lindis | F.FL – Max |
Phey – Lumburr | f.SILL – Nakroth |
Game 2 saw EVO looking to bounce back against Forgiven United. EVO opted for a more team fight-oriented lineup with Zephys, Lauriel, Xeniel, Lindis, and Lumburr. Meanwhile, Forgiven United used a similar lineup in Game 1, with the exception of the Lu Bu pick since EVO chose to ban Ryoma.
Both teams started the game defensively, trying to fish out their respective game plans. Yanyan and Gtrz were duking it out on the Abyssal Dragon Lane, while RapB and F.FL were going at it at the Dark Slayer Lane. F.N’s Teemee and Phey’s Lumburr were both on guard duty as their respective junglers were busy combing the neutral monsters and raking up experience. Rounding off the match up, Nab. was going toe-to-toe against Maker in the mid lane.
A quick 3-man gank by F.N’s Teemee at the Abyssal Dragon lane resulted in a First Blood takedown for Forgiven United. This was then followed by an early Abyssal Dragon secure and a 4-1 team score lead. Forgiven United continued to pick off EVO’s RapB with another 3-man gank at the Dark Slayer lane at 2:53. F.SILL and F.N tried to steal EVO’s Sage Golem at 3:11, but EVO managed to respond and pick off F.N. EVO then eliminated an isolated Maker in the middle lane to cut into the lead, 3-5. A clash at 4:19 saw EVO gain the early advantage, but Forgiven United were able to do the necessary adjustments to come out on top and a 9-4 team score lead.
EVO again got the jump on F.N following a team fight at 6:23 as well as at 7:49, cutting down the deficit to 7-9. The string of small victories proved to swing the momentum in favor of EVO as they began to pick off Forgiven United piece by piece, taking the lead 18-11 and eventually Game 2.
Winner: EVO
MVP: Nab. (Lauriel, 4-1-11 KDA; 13.4 MVP)
EVO vs Forgiven United – Game 3

Max | Alice |
PICKS | |

EVO | Forgiven United |
Gtrz – Superman | Maker – Preyta |
RapB – Airi | F.N – Thane |
Nab. – Jinnar | Yanyan – Lu Bu |
Jerz – Zephys | F.FL – Chaugnar |
Phey – Lumburr | f.SILL – Lindis |
The final match between EVO and Forgiven United’s Best-of-3 Series saw EVO banning Ryoma and Max, while Forgiven opted to put Xeniel and Alice on the sidelines. These bans were telling, as Ryoma and Max proved to be troublesome for EVO, while the Xeniel ban was to thwart RapB’s global pressure.
EVO chose to run another high engage and crowd control heavy team in Superman, Airi, Jinnar, ephys, and Lumburr. On the side of Forgiven United, they opted to go with a more defensive and poke-laden lineup with Preyta, Thane, Lu Bu, Chaugnar, and Lindis.
Again, both teams began the match by scouting the opposing jungle while assisting their own junglers. Forgiven United got First Blood honors by catching Nab. out of position in the middle lane. This allowed Forgiven United to secure the Spirit Sentiel early, and increase their gold advantage. EVO managed to secure the first Abyssal Dragon at 2:15, but Forgiven United was quick to engage them right after. Good positioning from f.SILL landed him a triple kill and a 4-0 lead for his club.
Forgiven United were quick to ride the momentum after f.SILL getting another kill which helped balloon their lead 7-1, but EVO took a misplay from F.FL which led to Jerz shutting down f.SILL and some much needed breathing room. EVO capitalized on this by securing another Abyssal Dragon at 5:19, but Forgiven United quelled that short run by tagging Jinnar to take back the lead 8-4.
However, Forgiven United again got a bit overzealous and were at the wrong side of a team fight at 6:49. This led to EVO pushing the first tier middle tower and were poised to capture their third Dragon. Forgiven United pressed the attack, initiating the Abyssal Dragon fight at 7:53 where they managed to withstand a barrage of burst damage from Superman and Lumburr and win the clash.
As the match went to the later stages, it was a game of who could pick off or engage at the most opportune moment. Both squads resorted to managing their lanes and harass their opponents whenever they can. EVO managed to pick off Yanyan, while f.SILL went ahead and destroyed EVO’s first tier top tower. This prompted a quick skirmish near Dark Slayer which saw EVO mustering their scattered teammates to contest for the highly-coveted buff. A great Dark Slayer steal from Gtrz at 10:44 greatly shifted the team fight to their favor, as they decimated Forgiven United’s low health heroes.
Once Forgiven United rallied their forces, they opted to push the Dark Slayer lane then switched to the mid lane. EVO beat them to the punch, engaging them and winning the team fight handily. They then proceeded to push the mid lane hard, resulting in a destroyed high ground tower. Forgiven United staved off the potential routing, and managed to pick off RapBat 16:36 and securing the Dark Slayer and Abyssal Dragon.
With their backs against the wall, EVO withstood a Dark Slayer-powered Forgiven United and obliterated the latter’s siege 3-2, but at the expense of their higher ground mid tower. Both teams then began to muster their forces again, knowing that one clash separates them from winning or losing the game.
A prolonged battle at mid lane started with Gtrz and Phey engaging Forgiven United while they were undermanned. This prompted a long series of chase down sequences, with EVO cutting off Forgiven United’s damage dealers and managing to pummel Forgiven United long enough to secure another Dark Slayer.
Ultimately, EVO’s team composition and clever positioning were the deciding factors, as the Superman-Lumburr-Jinnar combo was enough to break through the front lines and decimate Forgiven United’s carries. EVO wins a highly competitive and thrilling third match, 32-28.
Winner: EVO
MVP: Phey (Lumburr, 6-2-20 KDA; 13.5 MVP)

BrenEsports went in Game 2 in a highly aggressive manner, pushing out micro out of the Might Golem. However, EnemyE-Sports learned from the previous game and were waiting on the brush. This led to EnemyE-Sports getting First Blood and a secured jungle.
This proved to be a foil to BrenEsports’ plans – EnemyE-Sports went on to a 2-0 lead and were ahead in gold at the early stages of the match. At 4:54, BrenEsports were trailing, 3-5, but were still showing tenacity, pestering EnemyE-Sports’ jungle and buffs, while also slowly building their gold lead via lane pressure. Meanwhile, EnemyE-Sports were chomping at the lead and managing to pick off isolated heroes thanks to their good 2-man rotations.
However, while BrenEsports looked like they were losing the battle, they will not lose the war. They used an objective-heavy strategy to push the side lanes, provoking EnemyE-Sports to respond and fight in areas where BrenEsports were waiting in the wings.
