Deep Serpent Mini-Boss Strategy

Main Strategy

First, try to deal with all the small enemies placed on the map. After that, look for the opening to strike at Deep Serpent after avoiding its attack to reduce its HP. It’s dangerous to keep staying at close range when fighting the mini boss so use hit-and-run attacks or various Omega skills to deal big damage.

Deep Serpent Moveset and Attack Patterns

Note that Deep Serpent’s moveset and attack patterns do not have names. The names given below are based on the actions and appearance of the attacks.

Spread Bullet

Deep Serpent will fire a bullet that spreads out twice. Although the direction that the projectiles travel are constant, it is hard to consistently avoid them if you are close to them. Because of this, try to keep your distance during the fight to have enough time to evade this attack.

Explosive Bullet

Deep Serpent will fire explosive bullets all over the map. The impact points will be shown in advance, so stay focused and avoid these areas. If there is no place to escape, try dodging at the right time when the bullets hits so you will not take any damage.

Sweeping Attack

Deep Serpent can perform a 360 degree spinning attack when you are close. You can easily avoid it by moving away from the mini boss, so aim to get behind and attack when you get the chance.

Deep Serpent Boss Attacks Strategy and Counters

Attack after dodging the enemy’s moves.

The chance to damage Deep Serpent is after avoiding his attacks. There isn’t enough time to pull off a combo on the mini boss, so try to aim for big damage with various Omega attacks. If you break Deep Serpent’s armor, he will start to flinch. Use this chance to deliver a series of strikes to take him down.
