Pin Farming Guide
Below are the best methods for farming Pins in NEO: The World Ends With You (NEO: TWEWY), including recommended game settings, useful strategies, and best Pin loadout for farming Pins in the game.
Adjust game difficulty and team level.
While outside of combat, press the Options button to open the game difficulty and team level menu. For farming rare Pins, it is recommended to switch to the hardest difficulty setting available (Hard or Ultimate) to battle harder Noise enemies. Note that certain Pins can only be obtained by playing on Hard or Ultimate.
You can lower your team’s level to increase the drop rate of Pins, making it easier to farm them. This comes at the cost of your team having lower HP so good positioning, dodging, and strategy is required to avoid getting wiped out, especially when playing on the higher difficulties.
Do Chain Battles.
Initiating Chain Battles by touching multiple Noise symbols increases the drop rate of Pins from defeated enemies as well. Press the R1 button to scan the area and walk to as many Noise symbols as you can before starting the fight to take on multiple rounds of enemies.
Be warned that you must win a series of non-stop battles (depending on how many Noise symbols you chained together) without any downtime to changed your Pin loadout or heal to clear the Chain Battle.
