The upcoming action role-playing game NEO: The World Ends With You is due for release on July 27th, 2021 for the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Ahead of its scheduled launch, pre-order bonuses for the game were announced while different game editions were made available for early purchase on the Square Enix Store, Square Enix e-Store (JP), Playstation Store, and Nintendo e-Shop

Purchasing a copy of the game by August 26th, 2021 from any of the distribution platforms mentioned above allows players to receive special DLC sets which are detailed below.

Reaper’s Game Survival Set

Players pre-ordering a physical copy of the game on the Square Enix Store or Square Enix e-Store (JP) will receive the Reapers’ Game Survival Set. This early-purchase DLC set contains exclusive in-game items which are listed below.

• Mutation Badge – Will gradually restore Team HP while holding the button.
• Koumokuten Fashion Item – Greatly increases HP.
• Twister -NEO MIX- CD – Will allow players to set the background music of the menu screen to “Twister -NEO MIX-.”

Legendary Threads Set

Pre-ordering the digital copy of the game on the Playstation Store or Nintendo e-Shop will avail players of the Legendary Threads Set. This early-purchase DLC set contains exclusive in-game items which are listed below.

• Legendary Headphones – Grants an ability that increases damage dealt to enemies while lessening damage taken.
• Legendary Off Turtleneck – Grants an ability that significantly increases damage dealt by attacks.
• Legendary Shorts – Grants an ability that shortens down time.
• Legendary Sneakers – Grants an ability that increases movement speed in battle.
• Legendary Audio Player – Grants an ability that greatly increases HP.

Game Editions

Standard Edition

The Standard Edition is simply a copy of the game and is for players who only wish to experience the story and gameplay of NEO: The World Ends With You. The package comes in a physical disc and digital download version.

The Standard Edition goes for 59.99 USD. Pre-order bonuses are included if applicable.

NEO: The World Ends With Bag Edition (Japan Only)

NEO: The World Ends With Bag Edition is only available in Japan and includes a number of physical add-ons for only the most die-hard of fans of the series. In addition to a physical copy of the game, this special edition comes with exclusive items listed below.

• Mini Soundtrack CD (15 tracks)
• Art Book (80 pages)
• Pin Badge Set in a Cassette-themed Case
• Mr. Mew Hanging Pouch with Snap Ring
• Record Bag with Graffiti Pattern

The NEO: The World Ends With Bag Edition is priced at 7,480 JPY (or 67.92 USD) and is only available on the Square Enix e-Store (JP) and 7net Shopping (JP).
