How to Farm Pin Points (PP)
Below are the best methods for farming Pin Points (PP) in NEO: The World Ends With You (NEO: TWEWY). Included are useful strategies for farming PP fast, best Pin loadout, and best areas and enemies to farm PP during the early, middle, and late stages of the game.
Go for Chain Battles.
Doing Chain Battles allows you to get more PP by factoring in a multiplier based on how many rounds you cleared. To initiate Chain Battles, press the R1 button to scan the area and touch multiple Noise symbols before beginning the battle.
Be warned that Chain Battles pit you against a waves of enemies in a series (based on how many Noise symbols you chained). There are not downtimes in between waves to let you change your Pin loadout or heal so be sure to prepare beforehand.
Defeat enemies quickly.
The time it takes you to defeat all enemies also affects how much PP you gain after the fight. Because of this, you Pin loadout should be optimized preferably for targeting multiple enemies, most notably using Mashups, to reduce your clear time as much as possible.
Avoid getting hit.
Taking as little damage as possible is important for farming PP efficiently in the game. Being familiar with the behavior and attack patterns of various enemies will help you avoid getting hit so try to fight as many types of Noise as possible as you go through the game’s main story.
