Adjust Mario’s HP to 5 at Chet Rippo’s shop.

After recruiting Admiral Bobbery in Chapter 5, you will gain access to Rogueport Sewers where Chet Rippo’s shop is found.

By availing of Chet Rippo’s services, you can adjust Mario’s HP, FP, and BP when leveling up for 39 coins to increase certain stats while lowering the others.

For this build, you must lower your HP to 5 so you are always in Peril.

Get multiple Power Rush badges at Pianta Parlor.

To gain massive attack power, you must obtain multiple Power Rush badges via the prize exchange at Pianta Parlor.

Power Rush badges are added to the Pianta Parlor’s list of exchangeable items after you get the Gold Card from completing Frankie’s request “Important Thing!”. You can start this side quest by checking the Bulletin Board at the Trouble Center after clearing Chapter 6.

Note that each Power Rush badge costs 34 Pianta Tokens so you may need to spend time on the mini games or use Coins to trade for them at the exchange machine.

About The Mario HP5 Build (Highest Attack Power Build)

The Mario HP5 build is the strongest build for Mario in the game. As its name suggests, Mario’s HP is adjusted to 5 at Chet Rippo’s shop. To benefit from this, Mario is equipped with multiple Power Rush badge moves.

Since Mario’s HP will constantly be set to 5, he will always be in Peril. This allows him to gain a massive increase in attack power thanks to the effects of multiple Power Rush badges used. The build is even powerful enough to wipe out enemies using Multibounce before the foes can even act.

Even certain bosses will go down in one turn if you use something like Power Bounce or any other high-damage single-target move on them while running this build.
