About Tank Leg Type in AC6
Tank leg units in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon (AC6/Armored Core VI) have excellent armor, load capacity, and can absorb recoil from firing weapons. This allows your AC to handle heavy armaments without having to switch to the weapon firing “stance.” Tank leg units have a unique way of turning in that they cannot perform the action in a small radius. Instead, the leg type’ unique action “Drift Turn” allows your AC to quickly change directions.
Drift Turn can be performed by pressing the left analog stick in the direction you want to face immediately after a Quick Boost. Although tank legs have excellent endurance and access to higher firepower, it is not good at three-dimensional movements such as jumping. - Absorbs shooting recoil, allowing you to use heavy weapons without having to switch to the weapon firing “stance.”
- “Drift Turns” compensate for the inefficiency of the leg type’s poor turning ability.
