Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon Trophy and Achievement List

Rewarded for clearing Arena missions.

Completing missions in Arena mode of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon (AC6/Armored Core VI) will reward you with OST Chips you can use to purchase OS Tuning upgrades at the Garage.

Your current amount of OST Chips is displayed on the upper right corner of the screen (above your current Credits) when at the Garage screen and its various sub menus.

It is recommended to spend time going through the various Arena programs while progressing through the game’s main story missions. Doing so allows you to gradually improve the performance of your AC to take on tougher foes, especially bosses, encountered in later missions.

How to Get OST Chips

Clear Arena mode battles.

OST Chips are rewarded for clearing Arena mode battles for the first time. As you go further into the main story, more rival ACs are unlocked in the Arena so try to spend time taking them down to earn as many chips as possible.

What are OST Chips?

Special resource required to purchase OS Tuning upgrades.

OST Chips are a type of currency in Armored Core 6 that is used to unlock OS Tuning upgrades that grant your AC useful passive and active abilities.

The effects of OS Tuning enhancements range from providing your machine with improved damage using certain weapons, enabling the use of special actions like Boost Kick and Quick Turn, or adding manually activated defensive options to increase your survivability.

Can You Respec OS Tuning Upgrades and Refund OST Chips?

May not be possible (to be confirmed).

While yet to be confirmed from official sources, it is expected that respeccing OS Tuning upgrades will not be possible. This means that you will not be able to get back any OST Chips you spent unlocking various OS upgrades afterwards.

Because of this, try to think carefully which enhancements best suit your playstyle and AC loadout before spending the currency at the Garage.
