Multiplayer confirmed.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon (AC6/Armored Core VI) has been confirmed to support online multiplayer, allowing players from around the world to battle each other using their customized AC mechs.

Specific details on the online format and game modes available in the latest entry to the Armored Core series have yet to be revealed. What looks to be a 6-player match mode, however, has been reported to be debuting in the upcoming title based on an image of the Japanese version of the game.

A few user’s on the Reddit page have expressed excitement over Armored Core 6 accommodating multiplayer of up to 6 players. Some Redditors have even discussed the possibility of the game eventually entering mecha esports territory, similar to the popular Gundam VS franchise.
