Diablo 4 Battle Pass: Should You Buy It?
How to Purchase a Battle Pass
Can be purchased from the Season tab on the menu screen.
To buy a Battle Pass, open the menu (OPTIONS button for Playstation controllers, M key for keyboard) and select Season to open the Battle Pass details screen.
(As of the game’s release date, the season has not yet started so Battle Passes cannot be purchased yet.)
When Do Battle Passes Become Available for Purchase?
After the start of Season 1.
The Battle Pass is not yet available for purchase on the game’s launch date.
Season 1 will start in mid-to-late July.
The Battle Pass will be available for purchase once Season 1 launches.
The Season will be renewed every 3 months.
A Season lasts for 3 months, and each Season will have a new Battle Pass (4 seasons in a year).
The skins that are included as rewards in the Premium Battle Pass cannot be obtained again when the Season changes, so if you purchase the Premium Battle Pass, focus on reaching the maximum Battle Pass tier (90) during the Season.
Battle Pass Price
9.99 USD and 24.99 USD
There are free and paid Battle Passes in the game. To get rewards such as skins, you need to purchase a Premium Battle Pass (paid).
The Premium Battle Pass comes in two versions which are the 9.99 USD regular Battle Pass and 24.99 USD accelerated Battle Battle Pass (automatically starts you at Tier 21).
Battle Pass Rewards

Battle Pass rewards include gear, horse skins , and Season bonuses with various benefits.
Get the Season bonuses with the free Battle Pass.
Season bonuses can be obtained with a free Battle Pass so the game does not become Pay-to-Win.

Should You Buy a Premium Battle Pass?

People who are particular about their character’s appearance should definitely purchase a Premium Battle Pass
The skins that can be obtained with the Battle Pass are only available for a limited time, making them very rare.
Conversely, if you are not interested in cosmetics, you do not have to get the paid Battle Pass.
The 24.99 USD accelerated Premium Battle Pass is recommended for those who do not have much time to play.
For those who do not have a lot of time to play (cannot play much on weekdays and can only play on weekends) but want Battle Pass rewards, it is recommended to get the 24.99 USD Premium Battle Pass, which automatically starts you at Reward Tier 21.
How to Raise Your Battle Pass Tier
Complete Battle Pass missions.
You must complete Battle Pass missions to increase your Battle Pass Tier.
The content of a Battle Pass has not been revealed yet, but missions should not be that difficult to complete as with most other games that offer a similar rewards system.
Battle Pass missions are active during Act 1 to Act 7.
Battle Pass missions are set from Act 1 to Act 7 so it is necessary to clear the beginning sections of the game.
