How to Salvage Equipment Guide for Diablo 4

Equipment can be salvaged at the Blacksmith.

Your equipment can be salvaged at the Blacksmith in the town.

Gear dropped by enemies can be carried in your inventory (equipment bag), but there is a limit to how many items you can carry.

When you reach the item limit, you will need to exchange the items you have with the items you have just picked up on the spot while discarding the surplus  equipment or items.

Because of this, it is necessary to regularly transfer items from your bag to the item chest or disassemble the equipment.

Disassemble equipment and collect materials used for refinement.

By disassembling the equipment, you can obtain materials necessary for strengthening weapons and armor such as Iron Chunks and Rawhide, as these are items used for upgrading.

Be sure to disassemble the equipment left over from the equipment update at the blacksmith and disassemble it into materials used for enhancement.

Ultimately, upgrade materials are required to enhance weapons and armor.

It is, therefore, recommended to collect materials for crafting and upgrading from the beginning of the game.

How to Disassemble Equipment

How to Disassemble Equipment by Manually Selecting Them

If you click the pickaxe icon and select Equipment, you can choose equipment to disassemble one by one.

This is a convenient method for selecting equipment that you do not want to salvage before sorting.

If you do not want to dismantle all your equipment at once or if you want to dismantle only one piece of equipment, manually select the equipment to be salvaged.

How to Disassemble Equipment All At Once

Equipment can be dismantled in groups for each rarity.

Equipped weapons, armor, and accessories are not included in disassembly.

Dismantling all junk items will let you dismantle only the equipment that you have designated as junk in advance.

If you are in the early stages of the game, it is easy to first upgrade your equipment to stronger ones before dismantle all other items .

The items you get in the early stages are not that valuable so try to salvage your equipment and make room in your bag.
