In order to clear this side quest, you must perform the Thanks emote at the shrine.
How to Perform “Thanks” Emote
For PC:
Press E, select “Customize” and set the “Thanks” emote.
For PS4 / PS5:
Press ↑ on the D-pad, open customization with the △ button, and set “Thanks” emote.
