How to Get Jewel of Yggdrasil in God of War Ragnarok
What is the Jewel of Yggdrasil?
“A piece of the broken Amulet of Yggdrasil. It can be used to allow the Amulet to hold additional Enchantments.” -In game description.
Jewel of Yggdrasil is an Amulet Fragment and is also an upgrade material for an Amulet which is a character equipment for Kratos in God of War Ragnarok (GoW Ragnarok). An Amulet is used to equip Enchantments and can be selected by going into the Armor menu → Amulet → choose (2) two slots for Enchantments.
You can acquire more slots on the Amulet for attaching other Enchantments by unlocking and finding the rest of the Jewel of Yggdrasil which will be available as you progress through the game’s main story.
Ways to Get the Jewel of Yggdrasil
Opening a Legendary Chest
As you progress through the game’s story, there’s a chance that you will encounter a Legendary Chest and they may contain a Jewel of Yggdrasil which you can actually use for upgrading your Amulet at the Blacksmith and a piece of Jewel of Yggdrasil will also unlock an extra 1 slot for Enchantments.
Defeating Enemies
While being on your adventure, defeating enemies is one of the challenges you’ll encounter as you progress in the story. There are some stronger enemies that may have the chance to drop a Jewel of Yggdrasil once you have defeated them.
