Muspelheim Seed Piece Locations in God of War Ragnarok
What are Muspelheim Seed Pieces?
Muspelheim Seed Pieces are key items in God of War Ragnarok (GoW Ragnarok) required to gain access to Muspelheim during the game’s main story. Without entry to the realm, you will not be able to do any of the Trials of Muspelheim optional challenges.
Getting both Muspelheim Seeds is part of The Crucible Favor (side quest) which is automatically started upon grabbing the first seed piece.
Found in Svartalfheim
There are two Muspelheim Seed Pieces in the game which are both acquired from Legendary Chests in Svartalfheim. There is no way to obtain them prior to reaching the realm during the main story quest.
Muspelheim Seed Piece #1 (Modvitnir’s Rig)
You can get the first Muspelheim Seed Piece at Modvitnir’s Rig. The key item is found inside the Legendary Chest on the edge of the wooden platform near the water.
Muspelheim Seed Piece #2 (Alberich Hollow)
The second Muspelheim Seed Piece can only be obtained once you obtain the Draupnir Spear during Chapter 10: Forging Destiny of the main story. After getting the spear, head to Dragon Beach to find some golden chains that you can use to climb up to.
Throw the Draupnir Spear blowing from the wall. Doing so lets you climb up to reach Alberich Hollow. Once you arrive at the location, you will find Legendary Chest containing the seed encased in gold ore. To open the chest, destroy the ore using a Fire Bomb.
Traveling Muspelheim
Head to the Mystic Gateway once you have both seed pieces to gain entry to Muspelheim.
