Trials of Muspelheim Guide for God of War Ragnarok

Trials of Muspelheim make their return in God of War Ragnarok (GoW Ragnarok) as an optional location which allows you to take on a series of difficulty challenges against waves of different enemies. While not confirmed, it is expected that the Trials of Muspelheim can only be undertaken after gaining access to the realm of Muspelheim itself from Yggdrasil, the World Tree.

How to Unlock the Trials of Muspelheim

The Trials of Muspelheim will likely be available by progressing through the late or even post-game stages during the main story. More information on this will be added when it is confirmed in the game.

Difficulty

It is expected that each Trial can be undertaken in varying difficulty levels as with the previous game. Note that you may only be able to access Normal and Hard Trials when you first enter Muspelheim. Impossible Trials, meanwhile, are likely to be unlocked after clearing all Trials on both of the lower difficulties.

The objective of each Trial, the type of enemies encountered, and how many of them appear changes when playing on Normal, Hard, or Impossible.
