You can engage in local 2-player split-screen races in Gran Turismo 7 (GT7) after clearing GT Cafe Menu Book No. 9 which requires you to place among the top 3 at the Tokyo Highway Parade World Circuit. Clearing the Menu Book also rewards you with a Roulette Ticket.

Steps to Begin 2-Player Split Screen Mode

1 After clearing Menu Book No.9, go to “Multiplayer.”
2 Select “2-Player Battle.”
3 Connect two controllers.
4 Select car and track.
5 Begin the race.

Two-player split-screen mode is quite limited and features a limited number of selectable cars and tracks when racing against a friend on one Playstation 4 or Playstation 5 console.
