Gran Turismo 7 - Which Used Car to Choose as your First Car

Which Used Car to Choose as your First Car in Gran Turismo 7

In Gran Turismo 7, you start the game by buying your first car. You will not be tied to this car and you have the option to pick another car brand or another car type as you progress in the game.

For those who bought the standard edition, you are given 20,000 credits to pick a car in the used car dealership. The used cars available in this range are the following:

  • Honda Fit Hybrid ’14
  • Toyota Aqua S ’11
  • Mazda Demio XD Touring ’15

Factors in Choosing Cars

Performance Points

The baseline factor in choosing your car is Performance Points (PP). PP is determined by a car’s weight, engine power, and other factors.

The PP of the used cards are the following:

  • Honda Fit Hybrid ’14 – 343 PP
  • Toyota Aqua S ’11 – 355.6 PP
  • Mazda Demio XD Touring ’15 – 322.2 PP

Horsepower

This refers to the amount of engine power needed to make a car accelerate over its weight.

The horsepower of the used cards are the following (they are based from the previous titles):

  • Honda Fit Hybrid ’14 – 138 horsepower
  • Toyota Aqua S ’11 – 122 horsepower
  • Mazda Demio XD Touring ’15 – 103 horsepower

Recommended Used Car for 20,000 Credits

Toyota Aqua S’11 may appear to be the right choice among the three due to its high PP score. However, Honda Fit Hybrid ’14 is the safe best choice due to its high horsepower and is next to Toyota when it comes to its PP.
