Gran Turismo 7’s Update 1.11 Improves Ways to Earn Credits

Gran Turismo 7′s Version 1.11 update released on Thursday, April 5th, 2022, implements several gameplay changes, including improvements to earning credits from various events. The latest patch is intended to address fan backlash over GT 7’s 1.07 update which significantly reduced money rewarded for completing racing events and making the game more grindy.

Update 1.11 Changes

Below are changes applied in latest update related to earning Credits in GT 7 taken from the game’s official patch notes. For a complete list of changes implemented in Version 1.11, click here.

  • World Circuits: The in-game Credits Rewards for the latter half of the World Circuits events have been increased
  • Circuit Experience: In-game Credits are now rewarded when clearing all circuit’s layouts with Gold or Bronze. If an event has already been cleared before this Update, going into the Sector selection screen and leaving with the Exit button will award the Credits.
  • Sport & Lobby: The in-game Credits Rewards in Lobby and Daily Races have been increased
  • Game Progression: Increased the upper limit of the free in-game Credits from 20,000,000 to 100,000,000 Credits
