How to Increase Car Collector Level
Car Collector Level, as its name suggests, is a player parameter in Gran Turismo 7 (GT7) that indicates your progress in acquiring different vehicles throughout the game. As you purchase cars or obtain them from other means, you will be awarded Car Collector Points which are akin to experience points found in role-playing games and other similar genres.
Earning Collector Points
Whenever you buy or acquire a new car, you will gain Collector Points based on how much your new vehicle is worth. For every 1,000 credits that a car costs, you will get 1 Collector Point. A vehicle worth 30,000 Cr., for instance, will net you 30 points.

Tips for Raising Collector Level Fast
During the early stages, focus on acquiring cars from World Circuit events instead of purchasing them.
It is generally recommended to collect cars by joining World Circuit events to allow you to save credits for tuning parts or for vehicles sold at Brand Central or used car dealerships later on. Many World Circuit events actually reward you with very good cars that you can use to win more challenging races as you progress through the game.
Purchase Legend Cars
Buying Legend Cars from the Legend Cars showroom (right side of the world map) allows you to earn a massive amount of Collector Points. Note that you are likely to be able to get these cars much later (unless you choose to purchase credits using real money early on) as they are the most expensive vehicles the game has to offer.
