How to take Cover during battle in Persona 5 Tactica
What Cover does?
In Persona 5 Tactica (P5T), there are stages that has objects in the battlefield. It may appear as a wall, box, container, or anything that can be in between an enemy and your party members. Taking cover means the damage from enemy attacks will be reduced or even completely blocked off and this does not only apply to your party members, but also to enemies, as they can also take covers while in battle.

Hide behind a stage object.
It is important to find a place where you can take cover to resist enemy attacks while you are still planning out your moves, you can hide on stage objects such as a box or a wall. Once you have moved to take cover, your turn will end as you are in guard state.

Never be out in the open.
If there is an instance that an enemy has no cover and they are out in the open, you can attack them and get a 1 MORE attack, but be careful as enemies can also have 1 MORE chance to attack you since you are vulnerable and not in a cover.
