Persona 5T is a completely different game from the original P5 and P5R. For example, the original was a command-based RPG, but P5T is a Tactical RPG, so the game is designed to requires more strategy. The original is recommended for those who like games like Dragon Quest and Etrian Odyssey series, while P5T is recommended for those who like Final Fantasy Tactics and the Fire Emblem series.
Tactica is for those who have already played the original
In Persona 5 Tactica, new incidents occur at the same time as the original story ends so the relationships between each character have already been established. If you play P5T without having played the original, there is a high possibility that you will not be able to grasp the characters personalities and relationships. Also, since there are many sequels and spin-offs to the original work, it’s recommended that you play the original work beforehand.
P5T main combat system
Can move around the field during battle
In Persona 5T, the character you control can move around the field during battle. In combat you can do things such as hiding in cover to evade attacks from enemies and taking positions in high grounds to gain an advantage in battle. The biggest difference from the original is the strategic nature of the battles, which involves not only attacking but also getting behind the enemy.
Combat that takes advantage of the terrain
