Velvet Room Guide in Persona 5 Tactica
What is the Velvet Room?
The Velvet Room is a unique space that resides somewhere between dream and reality, mind and substance. It is where Joker, the Protagonist, to manage Personas and combine them.
In Persona 5 Tactica (P5T), the Velvet Room has a steampunk atmosphere and is managed by Lavenza, a mystery female who works as Igor’s assistant.
Velvet Room Facilities and Services
Persona 5 Tactica’s Velvet Room features and services are as follows:
- Persona Compendium
- Persona Fusion
- Sub-Personas
- Weapon Fusion
Persona Compendium
The Persona Compendium, a database of all the Personas you have acquired or fused throughout the game, allows you to register your Personas. For a price, you can summon any registered Persona from the Persona Compendium. The Persona Compendium is a valuable tool for keeping track of your Persona collection and gaining access to it whenever you need it.

Persona Fusion
You can combine two or more Personas to create a new one with their skills and stats. Similar to Persona 5 Royal, the Fusion Alarm system may also be used to cause unpredictable consequences on your fusion outcomes, such as boosted stats, skill inheritance, or even fusion accidents.
Persona Fusion is the primary method for acquiring new and strong Personas in the game.
Persona Fusion Types
Persona Fusion | Description |
---|---|
Normal Fusion | Consists of 2 Personas to fuse. |
Triangle Fusion (Triple) | Consists of 3 Personas to fuse. |
Reverse Fusion | Resulting Persona shows what Personas needed to fuse. |
Fusion Accident | Resulting Persona is not expected based on the Personas fused. |
Sub-Personas
Sub-Personas can be equipped to your units as next to their main Personas. When assigned to party members, they will inherit passives and use their active skills.
Sub-Personas are acquired by beating enemies or clearing objectives. In the Velvet Room, you may also register your Sub-Personas and summon them later for a price.

Weapon Crafting
Joker can convert the excess Personas acquired into weapons for the Phantom Thieves to use. Through the Weapon Crafting service, the Protagonist can ask Lavenza to make one-of-a-kind melee and gun weapons with specific passives and active skills depending on the converted Persona’s traits.
Weapon Crafting is an effective method for removing undesired Personas and obtaining new weapons throughout the main story. Also, you can disassemble the weapons again if you want to change or upgrade.
