Gifts List and Guide for Ys X: Nordics
Some in-game terms are roughly translated from the Japanese version of Ys X: Nordics (Ys 10). We will update them with those in the English versions upon the game’s global release.

What are Gifts?
Gifts are special items in Ys X: Nordics (Ys 10) that you can give to various friendly characters (crew members and NPCs) to increase your Intimacy (bond) with them. Reaching certain levels of Intimacy with allies in the game unlocks character notes in your Adventure Log as well as special story cutscenes called Interlude Events.

How to Give Gift to Ally Characters
To give a gift to any character in the game, go to your ship’s Action menu and select the item indicated by the paper bag icon.
The type of gift that each friendly character prefers varies and is largely based on their personality and backstory. Be sure to learn more about your crew members and other ally NPCs to know what gift will increase your Intimacy with them.
How to Get Gifts
Gifts can be purchased from shops or found as loot as you explore the game’s different locations.
Other Ways to Increase Intimacy
Aside from offering presents to characters, triggering specific events will also raise Intimacy. Conditions for these occurrences vary throughout the game so take the time to talk to different crew members and NPCs during each story chapter.
