The scoop turn fake is a new 4-star skill move (★★★★) in FIFA 22 that allows your player to quickly cancel of the scoop turn to move away from approaching defenders. A highly versatile skill move, the scoop turn fake can be used from anywhere on the field, be it in the midfield, wing, or inside the penalty box.

Performing Scoop Turn Fake

The scoop turn fake can only be performed by 4- to 5-star skillers.  It is, however, recommended to have players with 5-star skill levels perform it since they will be able to do it while running.

Tips for Scoop Turn Fake

• As a fake out move, one of its uses is obviously cause your opponent to react wrongly to the supposed scoop turn and quickly canceling it out and pull away from them on the pitch. Mix it up with other options, particularly real scoop turns, to keep your opponents guessing.
• Scoop turn fakes are good for setting up shots near the penalty box when you have cut through the defense from a good angle.
• As mentioned earlier, 5-star skillers will be able to do the scoop turn fake while running. It can only be performed from a standing or walking position by 4-star ones.
