Attributes
Remember the colours on each of the heroes? Those are called their attributes. Each attribute has their own weaknesses and strengths. Because of this, they also have specific weapons that will maximize their power. And with weapons, they also have their specific job classes that use them. Each attribute gives a different set of stats that can improve the base stats of the job class assigned to the hero.
Attribute Table

Job Match-Ups
Red – Fire/Sword/ Spellbook
The Red Attribute is best for swordsman class. The Swordsman Class has balanced stats but with the Red Attribute, this may increase its ATK power and make it a powerhouse for the party.
However, they do have a short range and have disadvantages in mountainous terrain or fight across water.
Blue – Thunder/ Spear/ Spellbook
The Blue Attribute is best equipped for the Knight class. Or rather, most classes that wield a spear. For this class, they are best made for tanking and taking damage. However, they have a low agility stat which makes them vulnerable to fast moving classes and enemies.
Green – Wind/Axe/Spellbook
The Green Attribute heroes like Hinoka are commonly Axe users. Any hero under the Green attribute are known to have high ATK power and high HP. In exchange however, heroes from his attribute have low defense power. Thus, this makes them rather squishy in comparison to other classes.
White – Non-Elemental/Wand/Bow And Arrow/Throwing Knives
The white attribute is a non-elemental attribute. While it does not have any weaknesses, it’s also neutral against other units of a different colour. Most classes under this attribute are archers, white mages, and ninjas. These characters are normally squishy. So, it’s best to keep them in the back lines and have them attack from a ranged distance.
Attribute Advantage
Knowing the attributes of the enemy units can help you dominate the battle. This will also help in finding heroes and training them a lot easier than it should be. Organize your team well and if you do, blazing through the story won’t be a problem.
