Rank System and Tiers

When battling, knowing which heroes to put in is important. Some heroes may have higher stats than others, making them a higher tier or rank. The ranks are classified between S+ to C and change every now and then. There are times some heroes may reach another rank if they have better skills. Or, some even move down a rank due to the buff of certain heroes or skills. Again, knowing what heroes goes into one’s team is important especially for the arena.

Where do you see these?

You can see these when you summon heroes from the Gacha.

When using the Gacha, you can choose the attributes for each character that you want to summon. However, changing and adjusting the attributes does not guarantee a high ranking character.

How does Ranking help?

Ranking heroes and giving them a rank gives players an idea as to what exactly they are capable of. Are they useful or are they just skill fodder? Often times, those are the questions players have as they summon from Gacha especially due to the renewing banners every month. Other times, they have new events. And with the new mechanic of Skill Inheritance now, the characters can change in rank especially when new builds arise.

Since Fire Emblem Heroes updates often, so will this. Heroes will move up and down, depending how many heroes are added. For example, Ryoma was once S+. However, the latest patch moved him down to S with Lucina taking his place in S+.
