Overall Tier List Ranking Criteria

S Tier Outstanding overall performance out of the entire roster with little to no drawbacks.
A Tier Very good overall performance but may depend on support from teammates to perform consistently
B Tier Little to no versatility but performs its core gameplay very well.
C Tier Mostly outclassed by other Pokemon with similar roles or have extremely limited potential outside of very specific situations.

Pokemon ranking is based on the Pokemon’s ability to offer the best advantages to the team or being able to perform certain roles better than others. Ability to influence team fights single-handedly, less dependence on teammates to perform well, and versatility are also highly considered during evaluation.

Please note that Pokemon under C tier do not necessarily mean that these Pokemon are completely unviable. Specific team setups (both the player’s and the opponents) and player skill will also affect performance of the team and may allow lower-ranked Pokemon to shine during the game.

Top and Bottom Lane Ranking Evaluation

Coming Face-to-face Against Opponents

Pokemon that can stand up to opponents by having moves that give them an easy advantage during clashes have very high potential to dominate the top and bottom lanes. These include Eldegoss with its impressive healing and defense buff skills and Pikachu with its high firepower and ability to inflict paralyze consistently.

Consistent Performance Throughout Each Stage of the Match

Pokemon that shine only during the early and very late stages (sometimes too late) of the game are ranked lower for the top and bottom lanes. These Pokemon also often rely on allies to perform well, requiring a good level of synergy with your teammates and keen understanding each Pokemon’s strengths and weaknesses.

Center (Jungle) Lane Ranking Evaluation

Mobility to Assist Allies During Key Situations

Pokemon who can easily farm wild Pokemon in the center of the map (jungle) during the early stages of the game and have the mobility to quickly move to the top or bottom lanes are ranked the highest.

Consistently being able to help allies secure clear routes to goal zones at the top and bottom lanes is often a clear sign of victory towards the later stages.

Pokemon that Dominate in the Late Stages

Pokemon such as Garchomp who become terrifying offensive powerhouses at the late-game stages are also highly regarded in the center (jungle) lane. Because of this, it is very important to compete for farming Combees and Dreadnaws to gain as much experience as possible to play an active role later in the game.
