Gameplay Summary

Active Role in the Center

Talonflame’s mobility allows it to quickly assist allies in the top and bottom lanes. Afterwards, it can continue farming wild Pokemon in the center of the map.

Using Brave Bird allows Talonflame to get the drop on unsuspecting enemies or instantly teleport to even the odds for outnumbered allies.

Good lane awareness is crucial when using Talonflame. Look for favorable opportunities to help allies and make it easier to hunt Combees.

Low Endurance

Despite Talonflame’s impressive mobility and offensive potential, it is mostly focused on melee attacks and has low durability. Assess the situation to better utilize Talonflame’s strengths and be keen to avoid opponents with hard crowd control.

Recommended Moves

Name Effects

Aerial Ace (Lv.5)

Dash

Charges quickly towards a targeted Pokemon and increases the power of the next basic move.

Cooldown: 6 seconds

Brave Bird (Lv.7)

Embodies itself in flames and suddenly flies to the target area, doing AoE damage. After hitting the target area, suffers recoil damage and reduces the cooldown of basic moves for a certain time.

Cooldown: 10 seconds

Aerial Ace (Lv.4)

Aerial Ace is a good move for quickly closing the gap and works well to setup for Brave Bird.

You can also opt to get Flame Charge instead if you are willing to trade off the attack boost for increased movement speed.

Brave Bird (Lv.7)

Talonflame’s Brave Bird is arguably its core skill that lets it perform its most important job in the team: help allies in a pinch. Be sure to get it when you reach level 7.
