What is Detective Rank?
Detective Rank is a class mechanic in The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure Remaster that determines Lloyd’s standing as a member of the Crossbell Police Department. Whenever you move up a rank, you will receive special items such as useful Quartz, armor, and accessories that improve your performance in battle.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure Trophy and Achievement List
Earn Detective Points (DP) to Increase Detective Rank
To raise your Detective Rank, you must earn Detective Points (DP) by meeting special conditions in battle, clearing quests, talking to NPCs, or doing other specific actions throughout the game. Detective Ranks are unlocked during Chapter 1: Ominous Days (Day 1) after Elie gives you a brief tutorial on SSS Computer.
Tips to Increase DP Rank Fast
Try to clear optional quests as soon as they become available.
Try doing non-mandatory quests as soon as they become available during the current story chapter you are in. Note that some optional quests will expire and become permanently missable when you progress too far into the main story. This will prevent you from earning the DP rewarded for clearing them.
